Novembre 2011L'annotazione sulla patente e sulla carta di circolazione dei veicoli del trasferimento di residenza/indirizzo viene effettuata dalla Motorizzazione Civile, a seguito di comunicazione da parte del Comune.
Al momento della registrazione del cambio di residenza, infatti, gli interessati dovranno sottoscrivere un modulo per l'aggiornamento dei documenti di circolazione, che verrà trasmesso in via telelmatica dal Comune al competente ufficio della Motorizzazione Civile.
Al cittadino sarà rilasciata una ricevuta di attestazione cambio di residenza/indirzzo in corso temporaneo.
La MCTC provvederà automaticamente a registrare la variazione e a inviare a casa del richiedente i tagliandi autoadesivo da apporre sui documenti.
The variation of residence on driving licences or on vehicles' logbooks is carried out by the MCTC (bureau of motor vehicles) after communication of the Municipality.
At the moment of the registration of the new residence, the person concerned should sign the form for the licence updating that the Municipality will then transmit to the MCTC.
During the operations the citizen will receive a temporary certificate of residence.
MCTC will then register the change of residence and send home a sticker containing the new address that has to be applied on the documents.

The electronic transmission of the change of address from the municipality to the MCTC is carried out through the INA-SAIA system.
